The only other time I’ve ever worn a skirt for any significant period of time is when I used to visit my dear friend Jeremy Donovan aged about 11 or 12. We used to dress as elderly women on board the Titanic, and spent many a day re-enacting the whole event. From the iceberg hitting, to trying to persuade ourselves onto lifeboats.
